People who don’t believe in magic just need to go to the mountains.

This image is aptly named, because when I captured this photo the joy I felt made my heart feel so full it could barely be contained in my chest.

There’s a reason why we as humans are drawn to wild spaces. To places that make us feel small, and remind us that our time here on earth is so very limited compared to the giants around us. To the oceans and rivers and mountains that have been here long before us, and will still be here as we draw our last breath.

I photographed this image at Moraine Lake, Alberta, just as the sun was passing over the mountains. I felt magical, as the light caressed my skin and a gentle breeze played with my hair, and humbled, as I stood at the base of a giant.

Each print is hand-signed, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

  • This image is printed on archival-quality lustre (also known as pearl finish) paper, which beautifully showcases dark blacks and deep colours. The finish limits glare, and is perfect both framed or hung-up on its own.

For best results, please give prints a few days to flatten out completely before framing and/or hanging.
